Dr. Lauf & Dr. Meents are passionate about healthy eyes! They love teaching their patients about their eyes, how to take care of them, and how to see their very best.
Dr. Jeffrey S. Lauf
Optometrist
Dr. Jeffrey Lauf was born and raised in Napoleon and graduated in 1981 as a member of the State AA Basketball Team. Jeff is married to Julie (Hammon) Lauf and they have a wonderful family, Ryan, his wife Meghan, Jenna and her Husband Chris, Sara and her husband Will... and now seven grandchildren! Dr. Lauf enjoys watching all sports and is a big fan of The Ohio State University and all Cleveland sports, even the browns. Dr. Lauf loves many outdoor activities and playing with his dog Zoey as well as spending time with his family.

Dr. Lauf has been in private practice in Napoleon for 30+ years and enjoys the long-standing relationships he has built with his patients. Dr. Lauf enjoys treating eye diseases and co-managing LASIK and cataract surgeries. Dr. Lauf is accepting patients on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Dr. Jay R. Meents
Optometrist
Dr. Jay Meents is originally from Findlay, Ohio did his studies at The Ohio State University. He loves working with patients of all ages, especially children. He enjoys getting to know his patients and helping solve their individual visual difficulties, handling eye emergencies, and treating eye disease. Dr. Meents and his wife are the proud parents of three daughters Grace, Anna, and Lydia. In his free time Dr. Meents enjoys serving others through the church, photography, kayaking, running, and playing guitar He is currently accepting new patients on Thursdays & Fridays, call (419) 592-2021 to schedule an appointment for yourself or a family member.
